First of all, I must mention that my favourite part of this image are the eyes - Sunako's gaze seems to go just behind the viewer,...

The devMEET was exciting, and I met a lot of super-nice people and artists. I'm glad I chose to go after all, since I was considering not because of my fear of crowds.. and people.. and immense dislike of subway trains. But I went, and it was a lot of fun!

I ran into one girl along the way, and I wish I asked her name because she was really nice I don't think I ever did.. D: We wandered down the street for a while and when we actually did find the group, some 20 minutes after finding High Park, I met $Heidi and got a name tag and then met ~fennet and =Callykitty and talked to them for a little bit. Then $spyed got the group to head down this steep hill by a garden and pond (I want to come back there with a camera.. it was gorgeous!) to a garden designed in the shape of a maple leaf. I took some photos around this time, and will be able to post those once I get them off my phone. And charge my phone. (It died after this.. I was not happy. Now I have to mooch photos from others..)

There was a lot of people, and I wonder how to photo turned out.. but we'll see later I suppose. :3 After that we got into smaller groups - photographers, traditional artists, digital artists, literature and $spyed led some demos. I went into the Digital Artists group and talked to some people there. I kinda should have write down names because I forgot a lot of them.. I did see =alexiuss too, though he managed to disappear before I got the chance to go bug him, though. :< You'd think someone who was wearing a bright cape would be easier to find..

Sometime after that I got talking to ~ZepherFish, who is very inspiring and came all the way up from Michigan. o.o I also met ~amosis55, and a few other people afterwards that i forgot names. D: There were so many great people at this meet, and I wish I could've met more of them~

I stayed for a while after that, and wish I could've stayed even later, but I was becoming exhausted and had to make the long trek home. 30 minutes from there to Bloor Street (first going up that steep hill, which was a lot more painful the second time xD ) and going across to the subway station. I probably spent a good twenty minutes in the subway tunnels, then got to Union Station at 6:42 to check the boards for one the next train leaves.. 6:43.

My luck strikes again. x3

I didn't bother running for it - I can't get through the station and up the 2 flights of stairs that fast. I got some foods then checked the time again, thinking I maybe had to wait 20 minutes or so. Apparently, I just missed rush hour, so the next train was an hour later. It was nearly 9pm when I finally got home... and I have been amusing our new puppy, Boots, ever since. (I will post pictures of her later, too.. again, those are on my phone.)

Today was a lot of fun, and I definitely need to visit Toronto again - check out some places I missed before, and visit the Art Galleries and museums. Sad, how I went to George Brown for two years and never explored more.. my opinion of Toronto was based on one of the worst parts. xD High Park was so pretty, and I never knew Toronto had something like that right in the middle of everything.

Right now though.. I just need to go pass out for a few hours.

It was a real pleasure meeting and talking with you.
Visiting was the best part of the event for me.
If ever you need a hand or advice on something you are working on, drop a line, and I will help if I can.
Respectfully Zepherfish
It was very nice meeting you, too. :3
